Hybrid set of pickups with Seymour Duncan and DiMarzio

New installation of pickups on my beloved strat !

I created my own custom set with:

  • A DiMarzio Chopper in the neck position
  • A Seymour Duncan Ht Stack for Strat in the middle position
  • A Seymour Duncan Little '59 A DiMarzio Tone Zone S in the bridge position


After some tests, the Seymour Duncan Little '59 was not to my taste. The typical "mid scoop" was really present and that was not what I was looking for.

I decided to replace it with a DiMarzio Tone Zone S which fits perfectly my expectations

I also added a push-push linear pot to split both neck and bridge humbuckers. It works great: DiMarzio pickups sound also well in the split position.
