Non content de faire un marathon musical pour cette année, je me suis secrètement donné le défi de publier aussi mon premier recueil de poèmes que voici : Strange Journeys For The Colourful Souls.
Oui, il est en anglais. Pourquoi ? Et bien je vais vous le dire : à cause ou grâce à Jim Morrison, le chanteur des Doors. Fin du siècle dernier, je me suis procuré l'intégrale de ses écrits. La lecture de ses poèmes m'a bouleversé et poussé à écrire et mes premiers poèmes ont donc été en anglais.
J'ai voulu rendre hommage à cette "rencontre" en publiant d'abord un recueil en anglais dont chacun des 23 poèmes est illustré.
Ne cherchez pas ce recueil en librairie, il ne s'y trouve pas : je l'ai auto-édité, comme pour le reste de mes travaux. Il n'existe qu'en 5 exemplaires dédicacés, la rareté fait la valeur !
Si vous voulez un exemplaire vous aussi, n'hésitez pas à me contacter. Mais le plus simple est aussi de lire mes poèmes en anglais sur ce site.

Not only did I run a musical marathon this year, but I also secretly set myself the challenge of publishing my first collection of poems, which is now available: Strange Journeys For The Colourful Souls.
Yes, it's in English. Why? Well, I'll tell you why: because of, or thanks to, Jim Morrison, the lead singer of The Doors. At the end of the last century, I bought the complete works of his writings. Reading his poems moved me deeply and inspired me to write, so my first poems were in English.
I wanted to pay tribute to this ‘encounter’ by first publishing a collection in English, with illustrations for each of the 23 poems.
Don't look for this collection in bookshops, you won't find it there: I self-published it, as I have done with the rest of my work. Only five signed copies exist, making it a rare and valuable item!
